Junior Golf Learning Program

The learning program will consist of three progressive skill levels with 5 areas of evaluation in each level.  Each level will have five sections that must be completed, once a section has been completed an achievement pin will be rewarded, after 5 pins have been collected the player may move to the next level.  A booklet will be given to the player for skills reference and documentation of progress within each level.   Below is the general outline of each level:

Blue- Level One

Putting- form and skills.

Around the Green- chipping form and skills

Full swing- form and skills

Knowledge- etiquette, rules, equipment, sportsmanship

Scoring- 48 or better one time for six holes

 

Gold- Level Two

Putting- form and skills

Around the green- chipping, pitching, and sand form and skills

Full Swing- form and skills

Knowledge- etiquette, rules, equipment, sportsmanship

Scoring- 63 or better two times

 

Red- Level Three

Putting- form and skills

Around the green- chipping, pitching, and sand form and skills

Full Swing- form and skills

Knowledge- etiquette, rules, equipment, sportsmanship

Scoring- 54 or better three times

 

Development Clinics/Evaluations

 

June 20, 27  July 11, 18                     9:00-11:00

All clinics are optional, but are recommended for more efficient advancement within the learning program.

Program cost-

$150/golfer

Cobblestone GC Junior League

Eligibility-

Must be gold level (middle school experience) to participate.

Format-

            Gold level- 9 holes from green tees.   Red level- 9 holes from gold tees

Division winners will be decided by the lowest stroke average.

Play days-

Wednesdays at 2:00pm, June 20- August 8, skipping July 4.

A 15 minute golf clinic will be given prior to play.

$75/golfer
